“Honing Our Spiritual Defenses in a World at War”
October 17-19 @ 4:00pm
We are so excited to be having our Men’s Retreat this fall! Light & Life is partnering with Rosi C Ranch to host a retreat for survivalist activities and Biblical teachings to instruct men of God on both their defenses in the seen and unseen world. As Christians we are attacked on all fronts, but we rest in peace knowing that the victory is already won. However, we are called put on His armor every day until the race is done.
The events will take place at both Rosi C Ranch and Light & Life’s grounds. Rosi will host equine facilitated learning and horsemanship as well as cowboy games that include the following: marksmanship, axe throwing, archery and roping. At L&L we will be doing home defense and bushcraft activities.
Pastor Dink Porter of Mansfield Open Bible Church will be leading the teaching sessions. He and his wife spent 15 years speaking into the lives of their community youth until they answered the Lord’s calling to pastor the whole church in 2016. Their mission is to Love God, Love Others and Serve the Community. He is looking forward to the retreat, so we hope you are as well!
“I’m humbled for the opportunity to help young men and adult men to get connected to Jesus the vine, as we are the branches. In John 15 Jesus said that apart from Him we won’t be able to do anything. My prayer is that we as men can step up and lead our families the way God instructs us to!”

Early registration pricing will be available until September 27th. After this date the price will increase to $150 for adults and $95 for men under 18 years of age.
If you are unable to make it for Thursday there is also an option available for $80 to come Friday evening and Saturday. This includes dinner on Friday and all of Saturday's activities.
Please know that in the event of a cancellation there will be a $25 non-refundable portion of the registration fee, however, a partial refund is still available until September 27th, after which all sales are final.
